Solstice and Equinox
For millennia, the ancients marked holy days with the occurrence of seasonal events. . . specifically summer, fall, winter, and spring. Today, with the approach of a new season, we anticipate the promise of new beginnings, while laying to rest the one just ending. Celebrating these events helps us recognize both the continuity of and the changes to humanity over thousands of years.
